We met Susan Eidler in November 2003 when we visited La Quinta and thought about buying a home, “but not yet”. Over the next year, Susan kept us informed of properties that met our (changing) brief and we were impressed by her knowledge of the market. On a visit in November 2004, having viewed a number of properties, we signed the papers on our home. We watched her deal with the selling agent, escrow, home inspectors, mortgage brokers, etc. Everyone seemed to know her and respect her; we think that also smoothed things for us.
When you are 5,000 miles away it is crucial that you can rely on your agent to work for you. Susan made sure that all the documentation was in order, got it to us on our travels, and led us through the whole process, which was very different from UK. Escrow closed last week and, although her job is done, Susan continues to offer advice and support.
